How Provably Fair Works

Provably fair uses a cryptographic commit-reveal scheme with three inputs:

1. Server seed — a secret random value the casino generates before your bet, hashed (SHA-256) and shown to you upfront.
2. Client seed — a random value you control and can change anytime.
3. Nonce — an incrementing counter for each bet.

The outcome is deterministically derived from HMAC-SHA256(server_seed, client_seed:nonce). After the session, Winna reveals the raw server seed. You can hash it yourself — if the hash matches the pre-committed hash, the casino could not have changed the outcome based on your bet. Every result is mathematically auditable.

Why It Matters
